On margins
A note on why empty space is load-bearing.
The cheapest way to make a page feel considered is to leave more of it empty than feels comfortable. The page should look slightly under-filled on a wide monitor; that is the correct amount.
A document with no margin reads as urgent. A document with too much reads as precious. The middle band is narrower than people expect.
